tv journalist
I trained as a journalist with the BBC, where I worked for a number of years as a young reporter and presenter before joining ITV News as a national and international correspondent.
In 2006 I was headhunted to become one of the main faces of a brand new international television channel, Al Jazeera English.
As Senior Anchor, I launched the channel's very first program from Qatar and the network went on to reach some 200 million homes.
Over the next ten years as one of the network's main presenters, I covered many major events such as the Gaza War, the migrant crisis, the Paris attacks and the global economic meltdown.

On leaving Al Jazeera, I helped launch the London bureau for Turkish Radio and Television's international network TRT World. Over the next few years I and the rest of the team played a pivotal role in helping the channel cover world-changing events including the COVID pandemic and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Now I run my own media and communications company Aero Productions Ltd, and travel all over the world moderating events and chairing panels at global meetings.
